For the longest time, visiting Coffee at the Crossing was on my list. It’s one of those places you hear about, save on your phone, and keep telling yourself “I need to go soon”… but somehow, weeks go by and you just don’t make it.
That was me—until last week.
And now I can honestly say, I’m so glad I finally made it happen. There’s something special about finally visiting a place you’ve been curious about for so long, especially when it turns out to be even better than you imagined.
I walked in wanting to try something different, and the pistachio latte immediately stood out to me. I had high expectations… and somehow, it still surprised me.
It was absolutely incredible.
It had that perfect balance—smooth, slightly nutty, and comforting in a way that just makes you slow down and enjoy every sip. Not overly sweet, not overpowering… just thoughtfully made. You can tell when a place actually cares about what they serve, and this was definitely one of those moments.
Honestly, it’s the kind of drink that makes you want to come back just for that.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The space is warm, cozy, and full of charm—the kind of place where you can sit for a while without feeling rushed.
And what really made a difference was the people.
Everyone was so kind, so genuine, and that energy carries through the entire space. It didn’t feel like just another coffee stop—it felt personal. Those small interactions, the smiles, the way you’re treated… that’s what makes local places so special.
One of the coolest things about Coffee at the Crossing—and something that instantly makes it stand out—is the train car connected to the space. Yes, an actual train wagon, and it’s such a fun and unexpected detail. It adds so much character to the whole experience and makes the place feel truly one-of-a-kind. Even though I didn’t get the chance to go inside this time, just seeing it made me smile and appreciate how creative and different this coffee shop is. It’s not just about grabbing a drink—it’s about the experience, the atmosphere, and those little details that make you want to come back. And for me, that train is definitely at the top of my list for my next visit.
One of the things I didn’t get to experience this time—but definitely will next time—is the train.
Yes, the train.
I’ve seen it, I’ve heard about it, and I was so close… but I ran out of time. So now I have the perfect excuse to go back (not that I needed one). Next time, I’m planning to fully enjoy the space, explore that unique detail, and of course… try one of their treats.
Because if the coffee was this good, I already know the treats are going to be worth it.
