There’s a new sweet stop in Carmel, and yes — it’s officially scoop season. We finally stopped by the newly opened Ben & Jerry’s, and it delivered exactly what you’d hope for: classic flavors, generous scoops, and that nostalgic joy that only really good ice cream can bring. From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt fun, familiar, and perfect for a casual dessert break in the north side of Indy.
From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel welcome. Everyone was super friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help — which always makes the experience even better. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it’s thoughtfully laid out and bright, with two entrances facing the main avenue, making it easy to access whether you’re walking around or driving by.
There’s free parking available, and while it’s not a large sit-down spot, there are a few tables where you can enjoy your ice cream comfortably without feeling rushed. It’s the kind of place you pop into, slow down for a bit, and savor every bite.
We couldn’t resist going classic for our first visit — and honestly, no regrets.
Waffle Cone: Chunky Monkey & Cherry Garcia
A perfect combo. Chunky Monkey brings that rich banana flavor with chocolatey goodness, while Cherry Garcia balances it out with creamy cherry ice cream and generous chocolate chunks.
Waffle Bowl: Strawberry Cheesecake & Butter Pecan
This one was a standout. Strawberry Cheesecake was smooth, slightly tangy, and indulgent, while Butter Pecan added a comforting, nutty contrast. The waffle bowl just made it even better.
Every scoop was fresh, creamy, and exactly what you want from Ben & Jerry’s.
This Carmel location is perfect for residents on the north side of Indianapolis, including Carmel, Fishers, and Westfield. Whether you’re stopping by after dinner, running errands, or just craving something sweet, it’s an easy and convenient go-to spot.
It’s also a great addition to the area — familiar, fun, and ideal for casual hangouts, quick dessert dates, or family ice cream runs.
Ben & Jerry’s in Carmel feels like a small but mighty addition to the local food scene. Great flavors, friendly service, easy parking, and a prime location make it an instant favorite. We’ll definitely be back to keep working our way through the menu.
