Brickworld Indy 2026: A Must-Visit LEGO Event in Indianapolis

This weekend, we had the chance to experience something truly unique in Indianapolis — Brickworld Indy 2026, and honestly, it exceeded all our expectations.

From the moment we walked into the venue at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, we were surrounded by creativity, detail, and a sense of community that made this event feel so special.

A World Built Brick by Brick

One of the first things that caught our attention was the sheer scale of the displays. We’re talking about massive LEGO cities, detailed buildings, moving trains, and even full landscapes that looked like they came straight out of a movie.

Every table had something different to offer. Some builds focused on architecture, others on fantasy, and some recreated everyday life in the most creative way possible. You could easily spend hours just walking around and discovering new details in every corner.

What made it even more impressive was knowing that many of these creations took hundreds of hours to complete.

Incredible Creations You Have to See

From futuristic spaceships to colorful mini towns, the variety at Brickworld Indy was incredible.

We saw:

  • Huge LEGO cities full of life and movement

  • Creative builds inspired by real-world locations

  • Pop culture characters like Mario and Luigi

  • Unique artistic designs that really pushed the limits of what LEGO can be

Every section felt like stepping into a different world.

More Than Just a Display — It’s an Experience

What we loved most about Brickworld Indy is that it’s not just about looking — it’s about interacting.

There are dedicated areas where kids (and honestly, adults too) can sit down and build with thousands of LEGO bricks. It creates a fun, hands-on experience that makes the event perfect for families.

You can tell this is an event designed for all ages — whether you’re a serious LEGO fan or just looking for something different to do in Indianapolis.

A Perfect Weekend Plan in Indianapolis

If you’re looking for things to do in Indianapolis this weekend, Brickworld Indy is definitely one of the best options right now.

It’s:

  • Indoor (perfect regardless of the weather)

  • Family-friendly

  • Unique and creative

  • A great way to support local and national builders

Whether you go with friends, family, or even on your own, it’s one of those experiences that leaves you inspired.

Brickworld Indy 2026 is more than just a LEGO event — it’s a celebration of creativity, patience, and imagination.

We walked in expecting cool builds… but we left genuinely impressed by the talent and effort behind every single piece.

If you still have time to go, we highly recommend it.
