We’ve had Epic Coffee on our list since summer — literally since warm days and iced-latte season. But between schedules, events, and everything happening with We Like Indy, we couldn’t make it happen until now. And honestly… the visit was worth the wait.
Located at 7249 E 146th St Suite 110 in Carmel, Epic Coffee took over the former Rose & Lois space in 2024, bringing fresh energy, a welcoming vibe, and some seriously impressive seasonal drinks to the northside. It’s one of the few localcoffee shops in an area dominated by big chains, and that alone already makes it special. But once you step inside, you instantly understand why everyone talks about this place.
If you’re looking for a cozy place to read a book, take a meeting, get some work done, or simply chill alone with a winter drink — this is the spot. Epic Coffee feels warm, intentional, and easy to settle into. Their decor is inviting, clean, and modern, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind or stay focused.
And if you’re on the go?
They have a drive-thru — one of the very few local shops in the area to offer it, which makes grabbing your seasonal latte even easier.
One of my favorite touches here is their adorable pet photo wall. Customers can bring a framed picture of their dog or cat, and Epic Coffee hangs it up in perfectly sized frames on the “pet mural.” It’s wholesome, unique, and honestly the kind of detail that makes a coffee shop feel like a true community space.
It’s super cool, super fun, and 100% worth checking out — especially if you’re a pet parent.
Of course, we came for the seasonal lattes — and they did not disappoint.
Gingerbread Wonderland Latte — $6.50
A cozy, classic holiday drink with the perfect gingerbread flavor. Sweet, warm, and incredibly comforting. You know those drinks that taste like December? This is one of them.
Orange Spice Latte — $6.50
Made with gingerbread, orange oil, honey, and cinnamon.
This one surprised us — in the best way. It’s bright, festive, a little sweet, a little spicy, and super balanced. If you’re into citrus notes in your coffee, this might become your new winter go-to.
We didn’t try the bakery items this time, but the croissants looked delicious. Definitely on the list for our next visit.
We have to talk about the service.
The barista working during our visit was handling everything — taking orders, making every drink, running the drive-thru — all by herself. And she did it with the warmest attitude and a smile the entire time.
That kind of energy changes everything.
It elevates the experience.
It makes a place feel memorable.
Moments like that deserve appreciation.
Epic Coffee is more than just a place to grab a latte — it’s a warm, local spot created with intention and community in mind. Between the seasonal menu, the cozy interior, the drive-thru, and the pet photo wall, this coffee shop brings something different (and very needed) to the northside of Indy.
