When it comes to haunted attractions in Indiana, there’s one name that stands out year after year: Indy Scream Park. This spooky season, we headed back to one of the most thrilling Halloween destinations in the state, and it was everything we hoped for—terrifying, spine-chilling, fun, and full of unforgettable moments.
The moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you—blinking lights, fog rolling across the ground, and eerie characters lurking in every corner. Indy Scream Park is more than just a haunted house; it’s a full Halloween experience.
We kicked off the night at Monster Midway, grabbing a couple of delicious pizza slices and some cold craft beers at Bonzo’s Beer Garden. With fire pits, music, photo ops, and a lively crowd, it’s the perfect way to fuel up before diving into the scares. There are also fun spots where you can get a live caricature of yourself—a unique souvenir from your night of fear and fun.
This year’s lineup brings together six terrifying attractions, each offering a different kind of scare—from dark, eerie forests to full-contact experiences that will have your heart racing.
Neon Nightmare (New in 2025): A 3D, bass-pounding horror rave with DJ Killbeats and his killer clowns. Think glow-in-the-dark chaos and a lot of jump scares.
Backwoods: A dark, creepy forest where anything—or anyone—could be waiting for you.
Lockdown (18+): An interactive, intense experience where you may get grabbed, separated from your group, or even locked in a hidden cell.
Zombieland: Unchained (18+): A fully immersive experience that puts you face-to-face with your worst nightmares.
Nightmare Factory: Blackout: A pitch-black maze where every step makes your heart pound faster.
Zombie Paintball Assault: One of our absolute favorites—grab your paintball gun, hop on the truck, and shoot your way through a horde of zombies. It’s terrifying and ridiculously fun.
Even if haunted houses aren’t your thing, Indy Scream Park has plenty to offer. Monster Midway is filled with music, games, bonfires, drinks, and photo ops. It’s a place where you can relax between attractions or simply enjoy the Halloween vibes.
The live caricature stands are a fun bonus—you can capture the night in a playful way. Everywhere you look, there’s something happening, from creepy characters roaming the grounds to friends huddled together around fire pits.
