During our recent visit, we were treated to an exceptional Happy Hour experience. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant as we sipped on champagne and martinis, indulging in delectable small plates that transport your taste buds straight to France.
One of Josephine’s highlights is its Happy Hour, launching April 28th. Guests can enjoy specially priced cocktails, wines, and small plates while basking in the golden hour on the patio. With its charming setting and elegant vibes, the patio is the perfect spot for early evening conversations, spontaneous toasts, or simply savoring a moment of indulgence.
Our experience on the patio was nothing short of delightful. We paired our drinks with French-inspired small plates, each one bursting with flavor and beautifully crafted. The escargots, roasted in garlic, shallots, black pepper, butter, and Parmesan, were a classic delicacy with a twist, while the bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese offered the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The onion soup, rich in caramelized onions, Gruyère, Comté, and a touch of sherry, was a comforting start to the evening.
One dish that truly stood out was the ratatouille. A perfect blend of zucchini, squash, eggplant, and fried basil, all drizzled with tomato confit and served with a dollop of Boursin cheese—it was a beautiful and flavorful accompaniment that we absolutely loved.
