Sushi is officially on the move in Central Indiana! Kura Revolving Sushi Bar has arrived in Fishers, bringing an exciting, high-tech twist to traditional Japanese dining. Our team at We Like Indy had the chance to experience it firsthand, and let’s just say; it was a sushi adventure like no other!
From the moment you step into Kura Sushi, you know you’re in for something special. The sleek, modern space is buzzing with energy, and the star of the show? The conveyor belt is carrying an endless stream of sushi. This isn’t your average sushi spot—here, plates of fresh nigiri and rolls glide past your table, ready for you to grab and enjoy. And if you’re craving something specific, the touch-screen tablet at your table lets you order custom items, delivered via an express sushi train.
But that’s not all; Kura Sushi takes dining to another level with its robotic drink servers and an interactive plate-stacking system. For every 15 empty plates stacked, diners receive a prize from the Bikkura Pon machine, adding an element of fun to the meal.
Kura Sushi is all about variety and quality. Every plate that comes down the conveyor belt is made fresh, and if it’s not picked up within 15 minutes, it’s replaced to maintain top-notch quality. The menu features an array of sushi options, from classic salmon and tuna nigiri to more adventurous rolls topped with spicy mayo and crunchy tempura flakes.
The Taiyaki Ice Cream, a fish-shaped pastry filled with red bean paste and topped with a swirl of creamy soft-serve. It was the perfect balance of crispy, warm pastry and cool, sweet ice cream. Trust us; you won’t want to skip this one!
First time here, what a cool restaurant! A robot delivered our drinks, and you just pull food from the conveyor and pay by the plate. I’d definitely come back again.
Kura Sushi isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a full-on experience. Whether you’re a sushi pro or a first-timer, the setup makes it easy (and fun) to try new things. Plus, the tech-driven service keeps things efficient while adding a playful element to the meal. It’s the perfect spot for a casual lunch, a fun dinner with friends, or even a unique date night.
With plates priced at just $3.75 each, Kura Sushi makes it easy to mix and match dishes without breaking the bank. And if raw fish isn’t your thing, no worries; there are plenty of non-sushi options like tempura, fried chicken, and even French fries.
Located at The Station at Fishers District (11594 Whistle Dr., Suite 120), Kura Sushi is officially open and ready to welcome Hoosiers into this one-of-a-kind dining experience. If you’re looking for fresh sushi, a high-energy atmosphere, and a touch of tech-fueled fun, this is your spot.
Kura Sushi in Fishers is more than just a restaurant; it’s an interactive, futuristic dining experience that’s perfect for foodies and fun-seekers alike. Whether you’re here for the conveyor belt sushi, the ramen, or the playful plate-stacking game, one thing is for sure: you’ll leave with a full stomach and a big smile. We’ll definitely be back for another round!
Pro tip: Try the express sushi train for custom orders—it delivers your sushi straight to your table at lightning speed!
