Every summer, the Indiana State Fair transforms the Indianapolis State Fairgrounds into a celebration of everything we love about Hoosier life. For animal lovers, Wolves of the World offers a fascinating and educational look into pack life, with multiple shows daily in the Meijer Family Fun Park. Music truly takes center stage this year. The Hoosier Lottery Free Stage lineup is packed with performances included with admission. One of the can’t-miss highlights of the 2025 Indiana State Fair is Vinyl Revival inside the Harvest Pavilion, open daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. This immersive experience celebrates the powerful connection between music and visual art through The Art of Music Experience, featuring hand-painted displays of iconic musicians and legendary album covers from around the world. You can explore the stories behind these covers, watch live mural painting, and even browse a pop-up record store in partnership with Indy CD & Vinyl. Whether you’re a lifelong music enthusiast or just curious about the visual side of sound, Vinyl Revival is a one-of-a-kind showcase that will captivate fairgoers of all ages.
Families will find an endless list of free activities to enjoy together. Pioneer Village transports you back to the 1800s, Goat Mountain lets you meet adorable baby goats, and the DNR Fishing Pond is always a hit with kids. In Celebration Park, the DockDogs show is a crowd-pleaser, with athletic pups leaping into the water in spectacular fashion. For a break from the summer sun, Fairadise Splash Pad and mini putt-putt golf offer the perfect way to cool down and relax.
