Kyuramen x TBaar Indianapolis Review: A New Ramen Spot Worth Trying

We recently stopped by Kyuramen x TBaar – Willow Lake East, and it turned into one of those low-key, comforting dining experiences you’re glad you made time for. This is Kyuramen’s newly opened Indianapolis location, and if you’re a ramen lover (or just craving something warm and satisfying), this spot deserves a place on your list.

Located at 2424 Lake Cir Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46268, the space blends modern Japanese design with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, it feels inviting—perfect for a casual lunch, a cozy dinner, or even a laid-back date night. The interior is thoughtfully designed, the vibe is calm but lively, and the team makes you feel welcome right away.

If you’re nearby or looking for a new ramen place to try, this one is absolutely worth a visit.

What We Ordered: Two Combos, No Regrets

We decided to try two of Kyuramen’s combo options, which turned out to be a great way to sample different flavors and textures in one meal.

Combo A – A Classic Ramen Experience

This combo featured the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, paired with a Steamed Pork Bao Bun and Matcha Pudding with Red Bean.

The ramen was rich and comforting, with a deep, savory broth that felt slow-cooked and full of flavor. The noodles had a great bite, and everything came together beautifully—warm, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a classic tonkotsu-style bowl.
The pork bao bun was soft, fluffy, and flavorful, making it a perfect side. To finish, the matcha pudding added a light, slightly sweet touch that balanced the meal nicely.

We paired this combo with a Thai Iced Tea, which was creamy, refreshing, and a great contrast to the savory ramen.

Combo C – Comfort with a Crispy Twist

The second combo included Chicken Ramen, Deep-Fried Gyoza Dumplings (3 pcs), and Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly.

This ramen was lighter but still packed with flavor—perfect if you’re looking for something comforting without feeling too heavy. The fried gyoza added a crispy, savory element that we really enjoyed, especially dipped in sauce.
The cherry blossom jelly was a fun and refreshing dessert, subtly sweet and visually beautiful.

Again, we added a Thai Iced Tea, which honestly pairs well with just about everything here.

More Than Just Ramen

One thing we really appreciated is that Kyuramen x TBaar offers more than just great food. The service was attentive and friendly, the space was clean and thoughtfully laid out, and the overall experience felt relaxed and easy. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy your meal, and actually unwind.

Plus, having TBaar in the same location makes it even better—whether you’re in the mood for milk tea, Thai iced tea, or something sweet to go with your ramen.

Final Thoughts

Kyuramen’s new Indianapolis location is a solid addition to the local food scene. Whether you’re already a fan of ramen or just discovering it, this spot offers comfort, quality, and consistency in a welcoming setting.

If you’re nearby or looking for a new ramen place to try, this one is absolutely worth a visit.
