During our recent visit, we explored the extensive menu, and every dish we tried was a celebration of bold flavors, premium ingredients, and culinary tradition.
Fresh and Flavorful Starters
We began our meal with a trio of irresistible appetizers that set the tone for the evening. The Top Shelf Chunky Guacamole was a crowd-pleaser, prepared fresh with creamy avocado, diced tomatoes, lime juice, onions, and cilantro. Paired with warm, freshly cut, and fried chips, it was the perfect start to our culinary journey.
Next, we savored the Chile con Queso y Chorizo, a delightful mix of roasted pasilla chiles and melted cheeses, complemented by homemade corn tortillas and savory chorizo. This dish struck the perfect balance between smoky and creamy. Lastly, the Ensalada Tropical brought a refreshing twist with mixed greens, avocado, jicama, red onions, mango, and cherry tomatoes, all dressed in a zesty passion fruit vinaigrette.
Signature Dishes to Savor
For our main courses, we couldn’t resist sampling a variety of dishes. The Crispy Tacos were a nostalgic favorite, offering a choice of shredded chicken or beef, topped with lettuce, cheese, and salsa fresca. Each bite was a crunchy delight.
The standout dish, however, was the Monterrey Norteño. This masterpiece featured a blue corn tortilla topped with grilled filet mignon chunks, Mexican grilled onions, whole brown beans, and queso fresco. Served with a smoky salsa de molcajete, it was an explosion of flavors.
Seafood lovers will adore the Tacos del Mar, a duo of soft tacos filled with grilled halibut and shrimp, shredded cabbage, creamy chipotle salsa, and mango salsa. Served with Mexican rice and beans, this dish was as vibrant as it was delicious.
We also indulged in the signature Arroyo Molcajete, a dish designed for sharing. It came brimming with grilled chicken, steak, chorizo, nopales (cactus), jalapeño, Mexican onions, and queso enchilado, all served in a piping hot molcajete with roasted salsa and homemade tortillas. For an added treat, we opted for shrimp as well, making this dish a true feast.

The Burritos Juanito’s, filled with filet mignon, whole brown beans, cheese, salsa fresca, and avocado, were hearty and satisfying, while the Enchiladas Rojas, topped with red sauce and queso fresco, delivered a comforting and classic flavor profile.

No meal at Los Arroyos is complete without sampling their margaritas. From the tangy Tamarindo Margarita to the tropical Mango Margarita, and even the bold Spicy Skinny Margarita, the options are endless. Each drink is crafted with care, using premium tequilas and fresh ingredients.
To end on a sweet note, we enjoyed the Churros con Coconut Ice Cream, a delightful pairing of warm, crispy churros with creamy coconut ice cream. The Flan with Strawberries was equally indulgent, with its smooth, caramel richness complemented by fresh strawberries.
