If you’ve spent any time on Instagram lately, chances are you’ve seen Cali Boyz Burritos pop up on your feed. Their burritos have become some of the most talked-about food items in Indianapolis, with customers constantly sharing photos, videos, and rave reviews.
After seeing so much buzz online, we finally decided to place an order and see what all the hype was about.
For our first order, we chose The “OG” Breakfast Burrito, made with thick-cut bacon, fluffy verde eggs, crispy tots, fresh avocado, queso, and cilantro, all wrapped together and sealed with their signature cheese crust.
From the first bite, it was easy to understand why this burrito has developed such a loyal following. The combination of bacon, eggs, crispy tots, avocado, and queso made every bite rich and satisfying, while the cheese crust added an extra layer of texture and flavor.
The burrito is also very filling, making it the kind of breakfast that can easily keep you satisfied for hours.
One fun surprise with our order was the drink. We happened to receive a Capri Sun, which added a nostalgic touch to the pickup experience. The drink may vary, so your order could include something different.
Our order also came with green and red sauces. The green sauce was our favorite, adding a fresh and creamy flavor that paired perfectly with the burrito, while the red sauce brought a little more heat.
Two Burrito Options
Cali Boyz Burritos currently offers two main burrito options.
We ordered The “OG” Breakfast Burrito, which includes thick-cut bacon, verde eggs, crispy tots, fresh avocado, queso, and cilantro, finished with their signature cheese crust.
They also offer El Jefe, a California-style burrito made with marinated steak, crispy fries, house guacamole, cheddar cheese, and sour cream.
We haven’t tried El Jefe yet, but it’s already on our list for the next order.
How the Ordering and Pickup Process Works
Cali Boyz Burritos operates through scheduled online ordering and pickup rather than a traditional dine-in restaurant experience.
You place your order online, and they provide the pickup details and location. They also use their social media pages to announce upcoming drops, availability, and where orders will be distributed.
Because pickup information and schedules may change, it’s best to check their Instagram before ordering.
The process was simple: we placed the order, followed the pickup instructions, collected the food, and took it with us.
Our Verdict
Cali Boyz Burritos has built plenty of social media buzz, but in this case, the food genuinely lived up to the attention.
The “OG” Breakfast Burrito was flavorful, filling, and packed with ingredients. The cheese crust made it stand out, and the sauces completed the experience.

A Little Behind the Scenes
We originally planned to create a complete photo gallery and video for this order. Unfortunately, the memory card from our camera became corrupted, and we lost all the photos and video we captured.
Thankfully, we still had a few iPhone photos to share.
We’ll be replacing the memory card and placing another order soon so we can recreate the content properly. It will also give us the perfect opportunity to finally try El Jefe.
