One of the things we enjoy most about Indianapolis is seeing how its creative community continues to grow. Throughout the year, the city is filled with events that bring together artists, designers, photographers, content creators, and entrepreneurs—and Creatives in Color has become one of those events that celebrates exactly that.
Hosted by AIGA Indianapolis, Creatives in Color returns this August for its fifth chapter, bringing together inspiring speakers, networking opportunities, and meaningful conversations designed to celebrate creativity and the people behind it.
Three Days of Creativity and Community
From August 7–9, attendees can enjoy a weekend filled with conversations, workshops, networking, and opportunities to meet fellow creatives from Indianapolis and beyond.
The weekend begins on Friday with Morning Matcha, a casual networking event that’s perfect for meeting new people before the main programming begins.
Saturday features keynote presentations and discussions with creative leaders, while Sunday closes the event with Stories We Carry, Work We Share, a conversation exploring creativity, identity, storytelling, and artistic expression.
Whether you’re a designer, illustrator, photographer, filmmaker, marketer, student, or simply someone who enjoys discovering local creative talent, there’s something here for everyone.

Before the weekend wraps up, don’t miss the first-ever Creatives in Color Vendor Market on Saturday, August 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Factory Arts District.
