There are nights in Carmel that just feel different… and this was one of them.
We spent a Thursday evening at Prime 47 Carmel, and from the moment we walked in, everything felt like a full experience. Live music, incredible food, crafted cocktails, and that upscale atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer.
The night was set by live music from Austin Johnson, bringing a smooth, intimate vibe that paired perfectly with everything happening at the table.
We kicked things off with the Wagyu Tacos and Crispy Ahi Tuna Bites… and honestly, both were standout.
The Wagyu Tacos were rich, juicy, and perfectly balanced with fresh toppings that cut through the richness just right. Every bite felt elevated but still super satisfying.
The Crispy Ahi Tuna Bites had that perfect contrast — crispy on the outside, tender and fresh inside. Light, flavorful, and one of those dishes you don’t want to share.
The Smoked Old Fashion was more than just a cocktail… it was an experience. Prepared tableside, the smoke added depth and aroma that made every sip feel intentional.
The Frostbite was refreshing, smooth, and visually stunning — one of those drinks that you immediately want to photograph.
Later with dinner, we tried “The Show,” and the name makes sense. Bold, well-crafted, and the perfect pairing for a steakhouse night.
We tried the Gem Caesar and the Roasted Pear Salad, and both brought something different to the table.
The Gem Caesar was crisp, clean, and elevated — not your typical Caesar, but one that feels thoughtfully done.
The Roasted Pear Salad was easily one of our favorites. Slightly sweet, fresh, and layered with textures that made it feel light but still memorable.
For the entrée, we went all in.
The 10oz Filet Mignon Farbuckle Style, topped with a Lobster Tail, was everything you want in a steakhouse experience. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Adding the lobster just took it to another level — rich, buttery, and worth it.
The Chilean Sea Bass was equally impressive. Flaky, delicate, and cooked to perfection, with a buttery finish that made it stand out on its own.
The White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes were creamy and comforting, with just the right amount of richness.
The Brussel Sprouts had a great crisp and depth of flavor, while the Cream Spinach brought that classic steakhouse feel — smooth, indulgent, and perfectly seasoned.
We closed the night with three desserts… and no regrets.
The Brown Butter Cake was warm, rich, and full of flavor — easily one of the highlights.
The Lava Cake delivered that classic chocolate moment, with a perfectly gooey center.
And the Cotton Candy added a fun, playful finish that made the whole experience feel even more memorable.
This wasn’t just dinner… it was a full experience.
From the live music to every detail on the plate, Prime 47 Carmel delivers a night that feels elevated but still welcoming.
A special thank you to the management team, and especially to Devarius Dennis, for his incredible attention, thoughtful details, and deep knowledge throughout the entire experience. It truly made the night feel even more special.
We’re always grateful for invitations like this — capturing these moments, the food, and the atmosphere is what we love to do. We’ll definitely be back.
If you’re in Carmel and looking for a place for a date night, celebration, or just a really good steak… this is one to have on your list.
