We honestly don’t know how many times we’ve been to BRU Burger Bar at this point — and that probably says everything.
This time, we stopped by the Carmel location to enjoy their Devour Indy Summerfest menu, and once again, it didn’t disappoint.
For $20 per person, you can choose one first course and one second course, making it a pretty great excuse to visit BRU if you’ve never been — or go back if you already love it like we do.
What We Tried
We started with the Cup of Chili, made with beef, pork, beans, sour cream, onion, and Tillamook white cheddar. We also had the Soft Pretzels with beer cheese and spicy mustard. Simple, comforting, and a great way to start.
Then came the burgers.
We ordered the classic BRU Burger with Taleggio cheese, bacon, tomato jam, caramelized onion, lettuce, and mayo, plus the Stilton Blue Cheese Burger topped with fried onion, spinach, pear-bacon jam, and truffle aioli.
Both were delicious, but completely different. The BRU Burger is always a solid choice, while the Stilton is perfect if you want something with a little more personality.
Your Excuse to Visit BRU
BRU has been one of those spots we keep coming back to, and Devour Summerfest makes it even easier to recommend.
