f there’s ever a better excuse to treat yourself in December, it’s National Cookie Day. And to celebrate it right, we wanted to visit a spot that takes cookies seriously — warm, gooey, rich, and full of personality.
So we headed to Crave Cookies, located at 1250 E 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240 in Nora Plaza, and it was exactly the cookie moment we were hoping for.
The bakery hits you with that perfect sweet aroma the moment you walk in — butter, chocolate, sugar, and a little holiday magic mixed in. What also stood out to us was the friendly, welcoming service. The team was helpful, patient, and full of great recommendations, making the whole visit feel even sweeter.
Crave’s holiday lineup for Nov 28–Dec 11 brings a fun mix of festive and comforting flavors that fit perfectly with this time of year. From the moment you look at the menu, you can tell each cookie was designed to feel like its own little holiday moment. The Red Velvet Oreo blends soft red velvet dough with crushed Oreo and white chocolate drizzle, while the Holiday M&M mixes oatmeal, a hint of peanut butter, and colorful M&Ms for a nostalgic December vibe.
Things get richer with cookies like the Chocolate Turtle, a caramel-filled brown sugar cookie topped with candied pecans and milk chocolate, and the playful Grinch, made with chocolate sugar dough, mint frosting, chocolate drizzle, and crushed Oreo. Both bring that warm, cozy energy you want around the holidays — one through sweetness, the other through a fun minty twist.
Our standout favorites were the Nutella Cinnaroll, a warm cinnamon-sugar cookie loaded with Nutella inside and on top, and the Crave Chocolate Chip, their signature deep-dish classic made with melty Ghirardelli chocolate. Each location also features a rotating Local Favorite, adding a unique touch to your visit, depending on where you go. This seasonal lineup is only available until December 11, so if you want to try these holiday flavors, now is the time.
